Christian Heurich's Beer Cans: 1939-1956

Starting in about 1939, Christian Heurich Brewing Company canned their Senate Beer, Senate Ale and Senate Bock beers. In 1950 they added Old Georgetown Beer in cans. In 1955, shortly before they closed, they canned Heurich Lager Beer. The following list shows the known variations. On the bottom of the page is a key to some of the terms used. All numbers refer to that can's listing in United States Beer Cans: The Standard Reference (USBC) published by the BCCA.

** There is still some dispute if this is a genuine variation or a fade from weathering.
